This deep indigo is inspired by the stunning and historical Silk Road city, Samarkand. This Uzbekistan city is home to the Gur Emir mausoleum, the Bi-Bi Khanym Moqsue, the medressas of Registan, and the Shah-I-Zinda. These historical monuments are all adorned with bold blue mosaics, domes, and/or interiors.
